当地时间2021年2月22日，《钱币学新闻》官方网站公布了第38届世界硬币大奖单项奖获奖名单，中国书法艺术（隶书）8克金质纪念币获得“最佳金币”殊荣，这也是继中国石窟艺术（麦积山）5盎司金币荣获2006年“最佳金币”之后，再一次摘得该奖项，该币也成为我国第11枚获得世界硬币大奖的纪念币。
