1. 看你的个人习惯，怎么翻译都行。英语足够好的话，直接来；差一点的话，现在的翻译软件也表现不错。
2. 比较麻烦，但据我所知，可以做到某种形式的提取文本。
3. 据我所知，在作者主页和日文wiki站上都没有类似信息。但我猜测，以作者的创作背景，他有设定过也不奇怪？
（4. 这可能是很艰巨的工作。对我而言，英译汉很简单，但汉译英的效率要至少减半……不知道你怎么样。游戏的文本总量是很大的，我强烈建议你先搞一个workshop，你觉得呢？）

噗…谢邀（大误）。关于1和2我刚好问过，但没有实操过（见图）。如果没有软件批量提取文本，用rm2000打开后逐条手动复制应该也可以（闭嘴）。关于3：我记得，除了《拉格传》里的几个人名和郊外地图上模糊不清的艾克薇尔、霍尔姆两个地名（根本看不清啊！），没有给出官方定名。我之前试译过官方设定（日语是我的第二外语），感觉可以根据假名转写，因为英语到日语的音译有那么一点规律。4.工作量嘛…我估计仅仅剧情文本的话，相当于二分之一到三分之二的官方小说卷一。此外还有游戏内小菜单（比如料理系统、职业系统、冒险笔记之类的），技能和物品之类的设定。像字表（用来猜名字）的汉化可能还要懂点软件，吧里有改字表的教程。如果能整理出原文，并且原文不是很难，可以考虑用机器翻译+译后编辑。5.（？）因为不是商用，理论上从中文译到英文，或是以中文为参考做日译英都是可以接受的，历史上不少人这么干过。6.（？？）一个人也可以干，但是会有点孤独。每天定一点小小的工作量，总能完成的。

补充：上述“原文”指日文，仅仅是中文的剧情文本的话已经有整理出来了。耗时……请做好一干就是大半年的准备

虽然游戏本体是用 rpgmaker2000 制作的，但我推荐用 rpgmaker2003 来打开，查看它的内部结构。
优点是可以搜索，还有注释有颜色~

注：所有专名翻译都是占位符，有些甚至没翻译（以后统一考据再处理）。只是为了测试文本本身的可读性。

He conquered the Elves and crushed the rebellion;
He was welcomed by 凯尔 as king;
He defeated the Dragon King;
He wed the Queen of 伯兰梅亚, and brought unity to her country;
He conquered the Giants;
He exiled the 艾兰卡人 into the wilderness;
He cleansed the holy land;
He founded the capital;
He taught man how to direct rivers and irrigate the land;
He taught man how to work iron and steel;
He taught man how to build;
He taught man the art of medicine;
He taught man mathematics and astrology;
He taught man the hidden secret of magic;
He wrote laws, carved onto stones that stood by every road;
He standardized the spoken and written language;
He standardized the units of measurement;

“This babe shall grow to be a great hero. But if he ever reaches the throne of 阿尔凯亚, then surely he must slay his father.” So went the prophecy.

At last, the babe was stopped by reeds covering the riverbank,
and was picked up by a shepherd.

“They bow in honor of his arrival”
Thus, he was raised by the shepherds.
When he was nine, he was able to slay lions in the wilderness.

and he was retained as a scribe.
His good worked earned the him the approval of the 阿尔凯亚王,
so the king entrusted all the matters of state to him.
So four years passed. Then came a night,
where he and his colleague made a bet to see who was braver.
To show his courage, he climbed onto the 阿尔凯亚throne at night.
This was witnessed by the king himself,
who furiously reproached him for this act of treason.
The two argued and fought, during which the youth accidentally killed his king.
A bird flew over and screamed at him shrilly:
“Patricide! Patricide!”
This was how he came to know his identity.

The generals called for his conviction and he was forced to flee.
First, he fled to a village, the first place he ever ruled over.
But the soldiers slaughtered the villagers.
Then, he hid amongst the shepherds.
But the soldiers came right after him, slaughtering the shepherds also.
At last, he was forced into the wilderness, without home or shelter.
For four years he was in exile. For four years he honed himself.
Eventually, he arrived at the bank of the Great River.
There he met the River Goddess, who revealed to him his fate.
And the Goddess became his wife.

He lived with the Goddess as time flowed by,
Until one day he had a revelation all of a sudden.
He decided to begin journeying. He was to establish his own kingdom.

根据某默默关注的前辈的提醒，找到了关于阿尔凯亚、阿格迪乌、伊泰利尔的词源推测。

ネーミングの由来はギリシャ語arche(アルケー)の派生語archaia(アルカイア-アルケア/ラテン語archaeaアルカエア-アルケア)だろう。「始祖の(国)」「いにしえの(国)」ほどの意味。
帝国之名可能源自希腊语arche（阿尔凯）的派生词archaia（拉丁语archaea），意思相当于“始祖的（国家）”“古代的（国家）”。
またaga(アーガ)もギリシャ語だが、aga deum(アーガデウム)となるとラテン語になる。対格になっているので、この場合は「大いなる神(の都へ)」「聖なる神(の都へ)」くらいの意味だろうか。またはoppidum(城塞都市)を意識して「um」の語感を残しただけかも知れない。
另外，aga（阿格）也是希腊语词，在拉丁语中写作aga deum（阿格迪乌）。因为是宾格，在这种情况下大概是“（到）大神（的都城）”“（到）圣神（的都城）”的意思吧。还有，或许是想到了oppidum(城塞都市)一词，因而有点“um”的语感。

ネーミングの出所はギリシャ語arche(アルケー)の対語telos(テロス)の派生語か？以下は推測。
命名的出处或许是希腊语arche的宾格telos的派生词？以下是推测。
H teleia(イー テリア)なら宝玉そのものが「完全なもの」、「成就」などの意味になる。
如果宝玉名为H teleia（伊泰利亚），那么就是“完全之物”“成就”之类的意思。
H teleios(イー テリオス)なら「完璧な人」、「成し遂げる人」など。女性の定冠詞が付いているのはアークフィアが女性神であることの強調か。ついでに動詞形はteleio(テリオ)。これらは全て古代ギリシャ語に由来するが、現代読みで対応した。
如果是H teleios（伊泰利奥斯），意思就是“完人”“有所成就之人”。加上女性定冠词，是要强调艾克薇尔是女神。另外，动词形式是teleio（泰利奥）。这些全都来自于古希腊语，但以现代读法来拼读。【注：h是古希腊语的定冠词】
