With the rapid development of industry, my hometown has been polluted extremely seriously since the1990s.And we are suffered greatly from the serious air pollution now.What's worse,people who go out to go sightseeing have to wear masks in order to breathe freely.Accidents caused by the smog are also increasing day by day,which makes us realize the importance of protecting the environment to decrease the number of smoggy days.
What makes us pleased is that people have take various measures to protect the environment,such as restricting the use of private cars and making environmental laws to punish whoever polluts the air.
I am glad to witness these changes and I believe my hometown will set a new image one day.
