        最近阅读了此篇文字;
I would exchange the "shy" side of me for the ability to appear more confident. Many people tell me that I seem shy and that I don't really have much self-esteem. I don't think this is true, though. I do believe in my own abilities, but I just don't show it off as clearly as some others do. I think my ultimate goal is to be humble but to appear confident at the same time.
        —————————
        i do ... (example= i do hope,, or i do believe ,, ) 起强调作用。
I believe in God. I trust in God.

*Alfred couldn’t find the words to describe how displeased he was. More than displeased really. He was upset. Livid. Enraged!

The American couldn’t understand how it could’ve come to this. For so long he had loved and admired his dear friend, Arthur Kirkland. The man was a great treasure that Alfred gave constant thanks for everyday. The man himself and everything he touched was like gold to Alfred.
*how it could have come to this.

lend my pen to you & borrow your pen是不一样的。 根据上面的文字,lend my pen to you, 我的钢笔就借人了。
"May i borrow your pen?" or "May you lend your pen to me?
              To be continued....

那麼就普通的说if we heat water to 100degree ,it boils
if you don't plant water ,it die.
就是if u want to read this book i will lend it to u
就是if 那句用现在式 ,结果那句用will + be (is am are) bare infinitive( bare infinitive 就是…
