'Go On' canceled as NBC comedy purge continues
NBC's house-cleaning at its comedy division continues: First-year series"Go On" has been canceled.
As things stand now, only one of the 11 comedies NBC aired this season,"Parks and Recreation," will return in 2013-14. The fates of "Community"and "Go On's" Tuesday companion"The New Normal" have yet to be decided.
"Go On" starred Matthew Perry as Ryan King, a radio host who enters grief therapy after his wife dies and comes to rely on the assorted oddballs in the group and its well-meaning but underqualified leader, Lauren (Laura Benanti). Julie White, John Cho, Tyler James Williams, Suzy Nakamura and Brett Gelman also starred.
PICS 2012-13 canceled shows
The show debuted to solid ratings last fall with "The Voice" as a lead-in but fell off drastically when the singing competition went on hiatus during the winter. "Go On" rebounded some when "The Voice" returned in March, but a two-week run to close the season on Thursday nights didn't sustain that momentum.
NBC has picked up five new comedies thus far in advance of unveiling its full 2013-14 lineup on Sunday (May 12).Follow Zap2it on Twitter and Zap2it on Facebook for the latest news and buzz

大家就节哀顺变吧。这部剧质量不错,但可能在面对废柴联盟还有另类家庭这两部上还是稍有不足吧。
