Manila, Philippines – American Idol 2012 runner-up Jessica Sanchez will be performing in Manila this coming September, as an extension of the 45-date 2012 American Idol Live Concert US Tour, which will start on July 6 in Detroit.

According to a report at Philippine Star on Saturday, June 9, 2012, Renen de Guia of Ovation Productions confirmed to Funfare that the American Idol Season 11 Top 10 finalists will be performing at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on September 21, 2012.
Jessica Sanchez, who will sing the US national anthem before the Pacquiao vs Bradley match this Saturday, June 9 (Sunday, June 10 Manila time), won the hearts of millions of American Idol fans despite losing from Phillip Phillips, who was declared the American Idol Season 11 winner.

Phillip Phillips had recently undergone surgery for his kidney problem, but had confirmed that he would be well enough eventually to join the tour. Nothing is confirmed about the overseas tours though. If Phillip would be able to join the rest of the American Idols for the Philippine Tour, then the group would be complete.
