Driving along one of our boundaries immediately took a turn for the better when we spotted Tengile’s daughter slowly making her way towards our reserve, her focus was set on a nearby impala herd with lots of lambs. We followed her through the thickets but the distinct alarm call from the impalas forced her to retreat towards a drainage line. This young female will look for a comfortable spot out of the heat to spend her day before moving on again when the light starts fading and temperatures drop.

I've always wanted to get the iconic shot of a leopard in a tree with its kill, and I'm not sure this counts.We found this young female on our first day at #umkumbebushlodge She's about 16 months old and had just recently left her mum and sister to fend for herself. This kill is only her 2nd ever and she's still figuring a few things out. Like which trees are better than others! She's still off to a great start and has lots of time to get the hang of things.

她是Ntsumi最近一窝的两个女儿之一。 We had a incredible time with the newly named Mgiba female. She is one of Ntsumi's cubs from her latest litter, she was interestingly enough seen marking as she moved through the concession. We cant wait to see what the future unravels.

原文： Driving along the eastern section of our reserve led to great excitement as we bumped into the large N'weti male as he was on a scent marking mission, making sure his scent stays prominent in his territory after the rains that might have washed it away. Male leopards must ensure their whole territory is covered in their scent to prevent other males from wandering into their territories unaware of the dominant male's presence.N'weti found a thicket where he became started grooming himself and rested.
