Sabi Sands game reserve is home to one of the highest leopard densities in the world. I've always wanted to get the iconic shot of a leopard in a tree with its kill, and I'm not sure this counts.We found this young female on our first day at #umkumbebushlodge She's about 16 months old and had just recently left her mum and sister to fend for herself. This kill is only her 2nd ever and she's still figuring a few things out. Like which trees are better than others! She's still off to a great start and has lots of time to get the hang of things.

原文： Driving along the eastern section of our reserve led to great excitement as we bumped into the large N'weti male as he was on a scent marking mission, making sure his scent stays prominent in his territory after the rains that might have washed it away. Male leopards must ensure their whole territory is covered in their scent to prevent other males from wandering into their territories unaware of the dominant male's presence.N'weti found a thicket where he became started grooming himself and rested.

The Island female on Mala Mala, 08November 2024.This leopardess brought down an impala in spectacular fashion. Unfortunately, the hyenas noticed right away. She was in the bottom of a drainage line, which looked more like a ravine. She managed to drag that impala out of the drainage line and up into a tree. She successfully protected her kill and was able to feed until she had a full belly.She moved to the shade and took a nap. These photos were taken right before she closed her eyes.

There is a newly named leopard in the west, and it's a particularly special one! After over 10 litters, the Basile Female has successfully raised her first cub. Wilddogs often chase leopards into trees She wasted no time and ran into the nearest tree, posing nicely with her unique blue eyes.

Had an epic morning with Kruger Gone Wild Safaris on Friday. We managed to find the female leopard Aranyani on the S118 where she strolled all along the riverbed to where she eventually walked right towards us, crossed the road and disappeared. We knew she would be heading in the direction of the S114 during the day and that would be a good bet for the afternoon drive. Later that afternoon I was on the S119 making my way to the S114. At the junction I turned right and wanted to make a quick stop at James Pan. As I was making my way down to the low water bridge I noticed three vehicles parked o
